New software from LegalEdge bridges gap between case management and communication.

WAYNE, PA - Legal case management software manufacturer LegalEdge unveiled the latest addition to its popular line of case/matter management software. The new program, LE-Mail, allows users to send case management data via e-mail directly from within LegalEdge software, and automatically links incoming e-mails to a particular matter and/or specific parties.

"This new option gives our customers a whole new level of efficiency," says William Alvis, president of LegalEdge. "Users can view incoming e-mail within our software and then attach those e-mails as document profiles to a staff entity, a person or a matter."

E-mail messages, along with any attachments, are stored in the appropriate case summary, trimming the amount of time an attorney or staffer must spend cutting and pasting e-mails and other forms of electronic communication. LegalEdge Thin Client Application gives lawyers internet access to cases.

WAYNE, PA - LegalEdge Thin Client, a new feature of the popular LegalEdge case management software, allows attorneys to access case management data remotely over the Internet.

The new technology affords busy attorneys the ability to be away from the office and stay connected-even in a courtroom setting, using a laptop and wireless modem.

"Staying in touch when away from the office is probably the number one concern attorneys have these days," says William Alvis president of LegalEdge. "With Internet access, our customers can manage all aspects of complex cases from just about anywhere on the planet.

Using Thin Client, attorneys can allow third parties to access cases in full or part through secure passwords and a unique user ID.
